Snake Eats Family Dog After Stalking It For Days
In Cairns in northern Queensland, Australia, a 16 foot python snake ate a family’s 5 year old silky terrier-chihuahua dog after several days of stalking the family pet.
Two children watched in horror as the snake swallowed their dog whole.
A few weeks before, the family cat’s body had been found. It looked as if something had tried to swallow it. And a smaller python had eaten the family guinea pig.
There was a warning that the dog was being stalked. The family had seen the python in the dog’s bed a few days before the attack.
It sounds like the snakes had found an easy source of food in the family’s pets.
